Diquat
Contains 200 g/L diquat as a soluble concentrate (SL) formulation.
Life Scientific Diquat is a non-selective contact herbicide and dessicant for use in the pre-harvest dessication of potato haulm, oilseed rape, combining peas, field beans, linseed red and white clover for seed and lodged barley and oats (for animal feed). It is also recommended for use as a general herbicide for weed control in row crops.
Life Scientific Diquat is absorbed by the foliage with some translocation in the xylem. It inhibits photosynthesis causing cell damage, leading to dessication.
